In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, Raj Kummar was asked about his take on Kangana Ranaut’s nepotism comment targeted at Karan Johar in the episode of ‘Koffee With Karan 5’. Here’s what he said, “I love watching talented actors on screen, I don’t mind if they’re somebody’s son or daughter in the industry. I want to see talent on screen. The problem would be if they are not talented and they are still on screen, then that’s not fair! So if someone is worth and talented, then why not, I have no problem with that!”

He was also quizzed about the CBFC banning several movies, to which he replied, “It is very sad that we are getting used to it. But we should not get used to it! Every third film or so is being banned or censored, it is the same problem! I strongly believe in certifying a film than censoring it. We are matured enough to decide what we want to watch or not watch. There is internet, people will watch what they want to. I don’t think cinema hampers our society.”
