Superstar Rajinikanth arrived in Mumbai late last night after the news of Sridevi’s demise came in. The actor is in Mumbai to attend her last rites. Rajinikanth and Sridevi have acted in 22 films since 1976. The most remembered film of the duo is without any doubt, ‘Chaalbaaz’ (1989). Rajinikanth was spotted at the Chennai airport while leaving for Mumbai as well as Mumbai airport on his arrival late last night.

The superstar had also spoken to the media yesterday outside his house in Chennai.

“I just met her three months back. I was shocked to hear the news. I have worked with her in many films over 40 years. She had the strange thing about her. In front of the camera she was a different individual and behind the camera, she would show herself as an ignorant person’.”

The mortal remains of Sridevi will be brought back to India by noon today from Dubai.
