Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic to start shoot in January

Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt has been facing a lot of delays in his shooting schedules due to various reasons. But here comes a good news for all those were eagerly waiting for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer.

An entertainment website quotes a source close to the project saying that the film will finally go on floors in January next year. Rajkumar Hirani had apparently approached Ranbir in November 2014 for the biopic and the actor too had instantly given his nod to the film.

Unfortunately, there were too many changes in the script, and the makers were waiting for Sanjay Dutt’s release from prison so he can give his nod to the script. After Sanju Baba finalized the script, the project was supposed to go on floors in June, because of which Ranbir had also walked out of the Kishore Kumar biopic. Sadly, even that did not work out.

It was later reported that the biopic has now been rescheduled to roll in August, but that too did not see the light of the day.

But now, January 2017 is said to be month when the film will finally roll out. The movie is expected to release during Christmas 2017.
