Randeep Hooda Chopra Village

Handsome hunk Randeep Hooda was last seen in the Tiger Shroff starrer, ‘Baaghi 2’ and currently, he has been busy working on the period film, ‘Battle of Saragarhi’. However, apart from his professional commitments, the actor is also making sure to take out time and lend support to causes close to his heart.

The actor, explaining the plight of the villagers told Mumbai Mirror, “Chopra village is where the Britishers had settled. They planted Sal trees in the Sitabani range at the Jim Corbett National Park. Now, the villagers have voter and Aadhar cards but no access to power as they are living in the forest and it’s not a revenue village. They are at loggerheads with the forest department.”

Sharing how he wants to bring a change in the lives of the villagers, Randeep shared, “I went there to see if some skill training can be imparted and instil in them a sense of pride. Everybody should have access to roads, electricity and water. The villagers are still living in the colonial world and we have to change that.”

In times where everyone is busy with their own life, it gladdens our heart that Randeep has taken up this initiative to help the Chopra villagers. Kudos to you, Randeep, keep up the good work!

On the professional front, apart from ‘Battle of Saragarhi’, Randeep will also be seen in Ashwini Chaudhary’s upcoming film, ‘Fifty-Fifty’, reportedly. However, with no official announcement made on this front, all we can do is wait and watch.
