Randhir Kapoor comes to daughter Karisma’s rescue, calls son-in-law a third class man

Lately, Karisma Kapoor is making it to the news all thanks to her twisted divorce story with her estranged husband Sunjay Kapur. It’s been quite a few months that Karisma and Sunjay are fighting it out in the court to get a divorce but, both of them are finding it difficult to come to terms with the divorce conditions kept forth by each other. Recently, this story took an ugly turn when Sunjay blamed Karisma for marrying him only for his money and nothing else.

In a recent divorce petition filed by the businessmen, he claimed that Karisma married him only for his money and accused her of not being a good mother. With this strong allegations coming his daughter’s way, Karisma’s father and a veteran superstar Randhir Kapoor lashed out on Sunjay by calling him a third class man. In a latest interview with a leading daily, Randhir said that “Sunjay is a third class man. I never wanted Karisma to marry him. He has debauchery in his ­system and never cared for his wife. He has been giving bullshit to her, and living with another woman. The entire Delhi knows how he is. I would not like to say anything more than this.”

When asked what’s his reaction on his daughter being called a gold-digger she said “Everyone knows our ­credentials. We are Kapoors. We don’t need to run after anyone’s money. We have been blessed with not only money, but our talent can support us for the rest of our lives.”

Further he said that the truth would eventually come out.

Karisma and Sunjay tied the knot in 2003 but, soon after their second kid was born, Karisma moved out of his in-laws house and started staying with the Kapoors. Since, then their relationshiop has been the talk topic of the time. Further details on their divorce case would come out only after the Court’s hearing.
