The actor, who has recently enjoyed success with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar films, has another reason to celebrate. He and Deepika Padukone are expecting their second child. As Ranveer stepped out in the city, fans couldn’t help but shower him with love and good wishes.

On Tuesday evening, Ranveer was seen wearing jeans and a red T-shirt featuring his protein brand’s logo. He appeared in high spirits as he exited with security to his car. Fans and paparazzi called out to him, and he responded with a bright smile and a wave.

As he was about to get into his car, fans cheered, “Baba, baba. Badhai ho, badhai ho (Congratulations!).” Ranveer happily waved back and even shook hands with a fan, embracing the joyful moment amid the sea of well-wishes.

Deepika Padukone Confirms Second Pregnancy

Last week, rumours had been swirling about a Bollywood couple’s upcoming announcement. Turns out, the speculation was true, Deepika and Ranveer shared their happy news through a joint post. Deepika shared a picture of their daughter Dua holding a pregnancy test with two pink lines, indicating she was expecting. The caption featured two evil-eye emojis, symbolising protection and good wishes. Fans and celebrities alike flooded the comments with congratulatory messages.

The couple began dating in 2012 after meeting on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018 in Italy. Their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, was born in 2024, adding to their family joy.

Deep-Veer’s Projects

After starring in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) and Singham Again (2024), Ranveer’s recent hits include the Dhurandhar films. The first, released in December 2025, and its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, hit theatres on March 19. Both films have collectively grossed over Rs 3000 crore worldwide. Deepika’s latest works include Fighter, Kalki 2898 AD, and Singham Again.

Ranveer is all set to star in a zombie-themed film titled Pralay. An official announcement is still pending from the makers. Deepika has King with Shah Rukh Khan in Hindi and Raaka with Allu Arjun in Telugu. Like her previous films, she is currently shooting Raaka while pregnant.
