After making the fans impatient for the Cirkus trailer, actor Ranveer Singh has finally released the movie’s new trailer, which is hilarious. For the past few days, Ranveer and the team have shared quirky yet colourful posters on social media. They even shared a small video, giving us a peek into his circus family. Going by the trailer, Rohit Shetty promises a laughter ride that will surely leave you splits.

The trailer also stars Varun Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Tiwari, Siddhartha Jadhav and others. The film is set in the 60s era where we see all the stars in the vintage style. In the trailer, the Padmaavat actor and Varun Sharma are seen playing double roles which creates a lot of confusion. And where there is confusion, there has to be laughter.

But the main attraction of the trailer was Deepika Padukone’s presence in the trailer. We see Padukone in the dance song, Current Laga where she is seen dancing with her real-life husband Ranveer. It has definitely left everyone starstruck as no one was expecting Rohit Shetty to reveal the surprise element in the trailer itself.

The other surprise is that Rohit gave us a glimpse of Golmaal 5. The trailer of Cirkus confirms that Golmaal will have its fifth instalment soon and we are super psyched. Considering that Rohit usually keeps his surprise elements for the film, he showed them already in the trailer. Fans are stoked to see and now, they can’t wait to see more.

The movie is said to be based on the 1982 Hindi film Angoor which is also based on William Shakespeare’s classic play The Comedy of Errors. It revolves around two sets of identical twins accidentally separated at birth.

Produced and directed by Rohit Shetty and presented by T-Series, Cirkus is set to hit theatres on December 23 this year.
