Rashmika Mandanna posted an Instagram birthday note for Vijay Deverakonda on May 9, with videos and pictures from the day. The post put together moments with family, friends, fans and their time at home. Describing it as a “perfect day”, Rashmika wrote that the celebrations played out almost in reverse, ending with a visit to a friend’s place after a day that included workouts, meetings and time spent with loved ones who dropped by to wish Vijay.

“It’s my man’s birthday today and my day went like this in reverse tho (sic),” she wrote, adding that the day began at home with family and their pet. She mentioned that “good mornings to paapalu dad and Shimmu (sister Shiman Mandanna) happened”, noting that their dog was part of the celebrations.

Rashmika also shared that an unexpected schedule change allowed her to be present for the day. “I love the days when you had released the date for a shoot and for some reason it gets cancelled, and you get to celebrate (sic),” she wrote, calling it a rare and welcome break. She signed off the note with a warm message: “Happiest birthday to you my Viiijjjjjuuuuu (sic).”

About Vijay, Rashmika’s Projects

On the work front, Vijay recently began work on VDxShouryuv with a pooja ceremony held in April. He is also set to feature in Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, where he plays a freedom fighter, with Rashmika starring alongside him. Actor Arnold Vosloo plays the antagonist in the film.
Not just that, Vijay also has Rowdy Janardhana lined up for a December 2026 release.
