Actor and politician Ravi Kishan has responded to the ongoing paper leak controversy and emphasised Prime Minister Modi’s message to students about delivering justice in the case. On Monday, he spoke amid the tense political climate in the country. Ravi Kishan REACTS To NEET Exam Paper Leak Controversy
He quoted the Prime Minister saying to IANS, “I will try to hire the biggest lawyer in the country and give those involved in the paper leak such severe punishment that no one dares to mess with students’ futures in the coming generations.”
He further added, “For a few lakhs or out of selfishness, they should not commit a crime by leaking papers that impact the future of the children of the country. This is a very big message.”
Ravi Kishan represents the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He is a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He briefly joined the streaming reality show ‘Alliance’ but left citing his sense of national duty. However, he was later seen promoting his film, Dhamaal 4, which is available in theatres.
What Was The Protest?
Meanwhile, protests over the paper leak have intensified across major Indian cities, including Delhi and Mumbai. The situation escalated after Sonam Wangchuk was forcibly removed by Delhi Police from Jantar Mantar early on July 18. It came after completing a 21-day indefinite hunger strike demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. It was over alleged irregularities in exams.

High numbers of top scorers and perfect marks have raised serious concerns among students. They demanded transparency, re-tests, and accountability. The government has defended the exam process. However, investigations continue to examine the extent of malpractice, eroding trust in the system.
On July 20, protestors at Jantar Mantar were lathi-charged by police. This led to violent clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement agencies.
