Actor and politician Ravi Kishan has secured interim relief from the Delhi High Court. The court issued an order safeguarding his personality rights, preventing various individuals, websites, and online platforms from using Ravi Kishan’s name, image, likeness, or other personality attributes without his consent. Ravi Kishan Gets Major Relief In Personality Rights Case
According to ANI, the order extends to the use of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and deepfake technology. The case was heard by Justice Jyoti Singh. Ravi Kishan filed a suit seeking protection against the alleged misuse of his identity across social media and online platforms.
The court instructed the removal of URLs that reportedly contained obscene, pornographic, and AI-generated content using Ravi Kishan’s identity. The defendants and relevant domain registrars are required to remove these URLs within three days of receiving the order. If they fail to do so, platforms like Meta, Google, and X must start removing the URLs within 72 hours of being notified.

In Ravi Kishan’s complaint, several websites and social media accounts are accused of uploading objectionable reels, fake statements, AI-generated videos, and sexually explicit content featuring his name and image without permission. He also claimed that some websites used his name in keywords and URLs to host pornographic material.
The High Court has issued summonses in the case, with defendants instructed to submit their written responses within 30 days. The next hearing is scheduled before the Joint Registrar on August 13, 2026. And the interim injunction application is all set to be heard on October 16, 2026.
On the acting front, Ravi Kishan was recently seen in the legal comedy series Maamla Legal Hai Season 2. He was also a part of the film Maa Behen alongside Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Dharna Durga.
