Road named after late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in his hometown Purnea- watch video

Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer amongst us but he will live in people’s heart forever. In order to honour the late actor’s legacy and great work, a road has been named after him in his hometown Purnea (Bihar). Pictures and videos of the road’s renaming ceremony are all over the social media.

A report in Live Hindustan quoted mayor Savita Devi saying that renaming of the road is Purnea’s way of paying tribute to the late actor. The road that goes from Madhubani to Mata Chowk will now be called Sushant Singh Rajput road and the roundabout has been renamed to Sushant Singh Rajput Chowk. Apparently Savita Devi has also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding a CBI probe in Sushant’s death.

Sushant originally hails from Maldiha village in Purnea. Check out the pictures and videos of the road named after him in his hometown.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is investigating the death of the 34-year-old ‘Kedarnath’ actor who committed suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14. The police probing his death case from all the possible angles. Yesterday, Bollywood’s popular celebrity manager Reshma Shetty’s statement was recorded by the Bandra police in connection with Sushant’s suicide case.
