This action triggered a major investigation by Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the incident via a social media post. The gang termed it a ‘warning’ to Bollywood, suggesting it was linked to the filmmaker’s alleged interference in their work.
