RRR sequel with Jr NTR and Ram Charan CONFIRMED but will SS Rajamouli direct the movie? Find out

RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR was one of the blockbusters of 2022. The film has not only earned moolah at the box office but also garnered immense love and appreciation globally. The movie has bagged several international awards including the Oscars. Seeing so much fame, the makers have also planned to make a sequel to RRR.

RRR sequel is confirmed but…

Screenwriter and Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad has confirmed RRR 2 will be happening with Ram Charan and Jr NTR. However, he also mentioned that SS Rajamouli would not direct the movie. Vijayendra also said he will remain associated with the project as someone else will be directing it ‘under his supervision’.

In an interview with a Telugu channel, Vijayendra said, “We are planning to make a sequel of Ram Charan and NTR’s RRR. The movie will be directed by SS Rajamouli or someone else under his supervision.“

Meanwhile, RRR created a huge history by bringing the Oscars 2023 award to India. They bagged the Best Original Song Award for Naatu Naatu song. Apart from bagging this award, the SS Rajamouli directorial venture also won Best Action Film, Best Stunts and Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. They have also bagged Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Hollywood Critics Association Awards.
