EXCLUSIVE: AR Rahman discusses what RRR song Naatu Naatu Oscar win means for Indian music

Music maestro AR Rahman also walked the green carpet of IIFA 2023. During his moment at the event, he was asked about his feelings on the RRR song Naatu Naatu getting an Oscar award. He then told us about the importance of Indian and how we need to keep up with that.

AR Rahman said, “It’s great and I should write about the momentum and spread it more. You see, there are a lot of other countries that get global success, they keep up to it and that’s very important. So the artists and all the people who are involved should put our Indian flag up there.”
