Saina Nehwal and her coach Gopichand train Shraddha Kapoor for her next

Shraddha Kapoor is all set to feature in badminton champion Saina Nehwal’s biopic. She would be essaying the titular role in this film, which is being directed by Amol Gupte. The actress has started preparing for the same. She is learning the sport and is being trained by the ace badminton champion herself. Not just that, Saina’s coach Pullela Gopichand too is training Shraddha, so that she gets her moves right.

Shraddha took to her Instagram to share a picture featuring Saina and herself from the badminton court and captioned it as, “Today training with the champ herself @nehwalsaina ? ❤️.” [sic]

Even Saina took to her Twitter handle to share a picture that had Saina, her coach Gopichand and Shraddha smiling for a selfie. Shraddha retweeted this and quoted, “Talk about a special practice session. With the champ & her grand master ❤️.” [sic]

As per reports the biopic has been titled as ‘Saina’ and will be making it to the theatres next year. (Also Read: Shraddha Kapoor excited to work with Prabhas in ‘Saaho’)

Meanwhile, Shraddha is gearing up for the release of her gangster-thriller ‘Haseena Parkar’ which is again a real life story based on the life of Haseena Parkar, Dawood Ibrahim’s sister. It is slated to release on September 22 and is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. It also stars Siddhanth Kapoor and Ankur Bhatia in pivotal roles.
