Salman had adopted a village in 2019 and now news of its reconstruction has been confirmed. Cabinet minister in the Maharashtra government Rajendra Patil Yadravkar took to his Twitter handle and announced that the work on 70 affected houses has begun.

He wrote in his Tweet, “खिद्रापूर ता. शिरोळ येथील महापुरात पडझड झालेल्या घरांची पुर्नबांधणी करण्यासाठी एलान फाऊंडेशन (दिल्ली) व अभिनेते सलमान खान यांनी जबाबदारी घेतलेल्या ७० घरांच्या पायाभरणीचा शुभारंभ पार पडला.” That loosely translates to, “In Khidrapur, Allan Foundation (Delhi) and actor Salman Khan have taken up the responsibility of rebuilding 70 houses in Shirol. Re-construction work has started.”

Well, this is an extremely kind act by the superstar.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman will be seen next in the Prabhu Deva directorial ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The actor had also announced ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ and ‘Kick 2’. Salman will also be back on television with the new season of ‘Bigg Boss 14’.
