Salman Khan who is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and ‘Dabangg 3’, is in headlines today. A death threat has been issued under Salman’s name through one of the Facebook accounts of the Student Organisation of Punjab University (Sopu), right before his court hearing in the blackbuck poaching case. However, as per reports, a police investigation has begun, and the superstar has been given police protection also.

Apparently, a Facebook post has been going viral, which included a picture of Salman Khan with a red cross on the picture, which was posted by a person called-Gary Shooter. Soon people have alleged that a gang which goes by name “007” is behind the threat. “Whether the threats are given by the members of this gang or not is yet to be ascertained,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), D Singh in a press statement.

“We are trying to ascertain the identity of those behind it. If we get any input, we will neutralize the threat proactively,” said the DCP. He also added that proactive action will be taken before any uncertain action takes place.

Salman Khan is scheduled to be present at the Jodhpur Court on September 27, over the Blackbuck poaching case. However, police protections have been increased for the actor, claim reports.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will be soon seen hosting the celebrity reality show, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and he is also gearing up to kick-start promotions of ‘Dabangg 3’. Fans are also eagerly awaiting to know what will be Salman’s next, as he has promised his fans that he will come up with something big on Eid 2020.
