Coronavirus has been spreading like wildfire all over the world. To curb this pandemic a nationwide lockdown has been imposed. Everything has been shut down and the streets of Mumbai have been empty for weeks now. Because everyone has been practising self-isolation, holy places have also been shut and recently Bollywood actor Salman Khan thanked them for ‘listening and understanding’.

Salman took to his Instagram yesterday on the occasion of Shab-e- Barat to share images that showed the lockdown being practised strictly. The first picture was of the street outside a mosque. The empty streets appeared to be on Mohammad Ali Road. The second picture was of a Qabrastan that was also shut due to the lockdown.

In the caption, Salman thanked them for following the lockdown as he wrote, “Wah ! Thank u for listening n understanding the gravity of this situation the country is in . God bless n protect each n every 1 . . #IndiaFightsCorona(sic)”

Earlier Salman had taken to his Instagram and shared a video of himself with nephew Nirvaan Khan. In the video, Salman said, “I haven’t seen my father for three weeks, Nirvaan hasn’t seen his father for three weeks. We are scared and we are saying it with full bravery.” He also told his fans to stay indoors and be brave enough to be scared and thereby avoid contact at all cost.

Also, owing to the crisis caused by the outbreak of Coronavirus, Salman decided to support 25,000 daily wage workers. And apart from that, his family is also supporting their staff as well.
