Currently, Taapsee is preparing for the sports biopic Shabaash Mithu based on cricketer Mithali Raj’s life. The makers wanted a younger actress to play Sania and after Parineeti Chopra playing Saina in Saina Nehwal’s biopic, they didn’t want to repeat her. Apparently, they took the film to Taapsee who has liked the script. Interestingly a few years back in an interview with Hindusthan Times, Taapsee had mentioned that she would love to play Indira Gandhi or Sania Mirza on screen.
