Taapsee Pannu calls out trolling of women for wearing bikini; says, ‘It doesn’t happen when men post their half-naked pics’

There are very few actors in the industry that walk the talk and Taapsee Pannu is one of them. The Badla actress is known for fiercely voicing her opinions on various social issues. She also never shy away from calling a spade and spade. The Thappad actress recently called out the trolling of women when they post bikini pics on their social media handles. Taapsee also pointed out the double standards of society as she said that men are not trolled when they post their half-naked pics.

Recently, while commenting on how women, especially TV actresses, are trolled more when they share bikini pics on social media, Taapsee told the Times Of India, “As far as my observation goes, I have seen women, in general, being abused when they put out their pictures in a bikini but the same doesn’t happen to men when they put out their half-naked pictures from the gym or beach.”

Taapsee never misses a chance to school trolls. Back in 2017 when the actress had posted her pics flaunting her figure in a bikini, a troll had commented, “In our country, we have freedom of expression, so why don’t you remove the remaining clothes also. Your brother must be feeling proud of you after watching this.”

Hitting back at the troll, Taapsee had replied, “Sorry, Bhai hai nahi varna pakka puch ke bataati. Abhi ke liye behen ka answer chalega (Sorry I don’t have a brother, otherwise I would’ve asked him and told you. But for now, will my sister’s reply work)?”

On the work front, Taapsee was last seen in Thappad. Up next, the actress has Haseen Dillruba, Rashmi Rocket, Looop Lapeta and Dobaaraa in her kitty.
