On Thursday, actor Shabana Azmi took to social media to claim that she was conned by an alcohol delivery platform. The 70-year-old actor alleged that she had placed an order online, for which she had paid upfront but the order was not delivered.

She wrote on Twitter how she has been duped. She tweeted, “BEWARE I have been cheated by them. #Living Liquidz I paid upfront and when the ordered item didnt turn up they stopped picking up my calls.” She mentioned the account where she made the payment and also the payment mode. But she hasn’t mentioned whether she has filed a complaint against the delivery platform or not.

Shabana Azmi is not the first celeb who has become the victim of such scams. We have heard and read many such news in the past as well. Earlier, Nargis Fakhri, Karan Singh Grover, Akshaye Khanna, Swara Bhasker, Devoleena Bhattacharjee among others have fallen prey to such online or bank frauds.

Shabana had met with a car accident last year in January, on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. On the work front, she will be seen in Swara Bhasker and Divya Dutta starrer, Sheer Qorma.
