From the layman to celebrities, everyone is going gaga over the film. And even director SS Rajamouli came out to praise the Shah Rukh Khan starrer.

SS Rajamouli praises Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan

The renowned RRR director took to Twitter to heap praises on Jawan and the magic of SRK. He referred to the earth-shattering opening Jawan took at the box office. Rajamouli wrote, “This is the reason why @IamSRK is the Baadshah of the box office… What an earth-shattering opening… Congratulations @Atlee_dir for continuing the success streak in the north too, and congrats to the team of #Jawan for the stupendous success…”

SRK responds to the director

In his humble style, SRK replied to Rajamouli’s praise, but he also added his signature wit to it. He wrote, “Thank u so much sir. We are all learning from your creative inputs for cinema. Please see it as and when u can. Then call me to tell me if I can be a mass hero also. Ha ha. Love and regards sir.” Well, there is no scope of doubt after Jawan’s performance that SRK is indeed a ‘mass hero’.

Shah Rukh starrer film has taken a tremendous start at the box office. Jawan worldwide box office collection on Day 1 stands at a record Rs 129.6 crore. This is the highest opening recorded for any Hindi film. Even in the domestic market, Jawan has shattered every record of opening day, emerging the highest earner. The film features SRK alongside Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra.
