Shah Rukh Khan tells fans not to ‘listen to stupid gossip’ when asked ‘Pathaan 2 kab ayega?’

Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying the success of Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan delivered a terrific performance in Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The actor recently hosted an ‘AskSRK’ session on Twitter. King Khan was asked about Pathaan sequel and he gave an interesting answer.

The Twitter user asked him, “I guess I ask on behalf of the entire nation when I ask – Pathaan 2 kab ayega? #AskSRK.” The actor replied, “Not just about #Pathaan 2 but every work of mine I will announce and say it to you guys personally. Please wait for me to tell you the truth not listen to stupid gossip!”

Ever since Pathaan was released in theatres, fans have been wanting to know about the sequel. Earlier, during King Khan’s interaction with the media, he was asked whether he would be interested in being a part of the sequel. Shah Rukh Khan had said, “Working in Pathaan was such a big experience and I am quite serious today. The love and success of the film have brought happiness to my family, friends, and all those close to me after a long time. So, if you ask me, then I am quite happy about the opportunity given to me. And Insha’Allah, whenever Siddharth wants to do Pathaan 2, I am in.”

The actor added, “I am ready to grow my hair till hips this time. I will try my best to give my all for Pathaan 2. It will be my honour.”

Pathaan is unstoppable at the box office. The Siddharth Anand directorial has already crossed Rs 500 crore in India. On the other hand, Pathaan is set to cross Rs 1000 crore worldwide.

Given the good performance at box office, a fan asked him “Why it feels like your success is our success… Subah uthke Twitter kholke Pathaan ka collection dekhna ab adat si ho gayi hai yska kya kiya jaye @iamsrk.” To this, he replied, “That’s very kind of you all. #Pathaan has made many people happy and that makes me the happiest.”

King Khan will be next seen in Atlee’s Jawan. This is the first time Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee have collaborated and fans are beyond excited. Jawan is slated to release in June, 2023. On the other hand, he also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar have collaborated for the first time and fans are convinced that the upcoming project will be a hit. Dunki which also stars Taapsee Pannu is slated to release on 22^nd December, 2023.
