Jersey Song Maiyaa Mainu: Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur make hearts flutter with adorable romance

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur are all set to create magic on-screen with their much-awaited next titled Jersey. The Jersey trailer made fans go gaga and the new romantic track from the movie is just heart-melting. The makers of Jersey released a new track titled Maiyaa Mainu and it will tug on your heartstrings. Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur paint the town red with their adorable romance.

The song starts with cute bickering between Mrunal and Shahid as his lady love has finally disclosed her relationship to her parents. But Shahid is too engrossed in his ‘garam samosa’. We are met with a beautiful rain scene between the cute couple post which their love story unfolds. The cute meets to the soulful melody is just the perfect combination.

The lyrics will make you turn to mush as they will touch your heart in all the right ways. Maiyaa Mainu is crooned by Sachet Tandon and the lyrics are given by Shellee. The music is composed, arranged and produced by Sachet-Parampara.

Jersey is based on the life of a middle-class man who was an ace cricketer in his early days but his life turned over due to unwanted circumstances. Jersey is a remake of his 2019 Telugu film of the same title. The movie will hit the theatres on December 31.
