Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon And Rashmika Mandanna’s Cocktail 2 Delhi Shoot Postponed After Red Fort Blast

Actors Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna have completed the Chandigarh schedule of their upcoming film Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania. The movie, which began filming in Sicily earlier this year, has been creating a lot of buzz among fans. However, the next phase of shooting — which was supposed to start in Delhi on November 12 — has now been postponed.

The film’s Delhi schedule was initially planned for a week-long shoot in the city, featuring key sequences with the lead cast, as per Hindustan Times. A source close to the production revealed, “Shahid, along with Kriti and Rashmika, was supposed to start filming in Delhi from November 12. But due to multiple factors, including the severe air pollution and the recent blast near Red Fort, the team decided to postpone the shoot for safety reasons.”

The source added that the schedule hasn’t been cancelled, only delayed. “The makers are now planning to resume filming in December if everything goes smoothly,” the insider said.

After wrapping up in Chandigarh, Rashmika returned to Hyderabad to continue promoting her Telugu film The Girlfriend, while Kriti is back in Mumbai gearing up for her next release, Tere Ishq Mein, alongside Dhanush.

Cocktail 2 is the spiritual successor to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. The upcoming film marks Shahid and Kriti’s reunion after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and will be Rashmika’s first collaboration with both actors. The film’s release date is yet to be announced.
