Shahid Kapoor is overwhelmed with the support ‘Udta Punjab’ is getting

‘Udta Punjab’ has been in the news since the past few days for its tussle with CBFC. Today morning, it was learnt that censor board has asked the makers of the film to remove all the references to Punjab from the film.

Well, a lot of Bollywood celebs and fans have gone against the CBFC’s decision. It is also trending on Twitter – ‘JUSTICE FOR UDTA PUNJAB’. And Shahid is overwhelmed with the support the film has been getting.

He Tweeted, “Overwhelmed with all the support #UdtaPunjab #freedomofexpression #drugsdimaadi.” [sic]

The movie is slated to release on June 17. However, now let’s see if the film will be releasing as planned or not.
