Actor Shahid Kapoor has kickstarted shooting for his upcoming movie with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar. Shahid took to his Instagram handle to share glimpses from his first day of shoot with Zafar. Both were seen in twinning in black outfits and were seen giving hearty laugh as they posed for a candid picture. Well, the movie is yet to be untitled. It is said to be the Hindi adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche. It has earlier been remade in Tamil and Telugu with Kamal Haasan under the titles Thoongaa Vanam and Cheekati Rajyam.

Shahid shared the picture and wrote, “Day 1. Blood, grime and lots of action. Here we go… Ali Abbas Zafar… Better get your game face on.”

Ali Abbas Zafar also took to his Twitter handle and wrote “Let’s get this started @shahidkapoor …..are you ready for a crazy, quirky, mad ride of guns & gangs”.

Earlier, a report in Mid-Day suggested that Shahid and Ali will start the shoot with an action sequence and from their captions, the report seem to be true. Reportedly, the Kabir Singh actor is playing the role of a cop who is chasing drug lords across the city.

Apart from this yet-to-be-titled project with Ali Abbas Zafar, Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Jersey which also stars Mrunal Thakur. He will also be working with filmmaker duo Raj & DK. It also stars Raashii Khanna.
