Shamita Shetty feels upset as she could not be with sister Shilpa Shetty during Raj Kundra controversy

Actor Shamita Shetty was locked for almost 6 months for the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT and Bigg Boss 15. The lady did not win but emerged as the fourth runner-up of this season. Even though she was playing the game with utmost grace and confidence, in the outside world, her sister Shilpa Shetty was having a difficult time her husband Raj Kundra allegedly got involved with a controversy related to adult films. Raj was also arrested and was granted bail in September last year.

Seeing Shilpa going through so much, Shamita is upset that she was not there when it all happened. She feels sad that she could not be a part of Shetty’s misery. Talking about the same, the Mohabbatein actor said, “I feel really sad that I could not be a part of this difficult time with Shilpa. I would have loved to be there with her because I remember when I was in the OTT show I was extremely worried about her and didn’t know what was happening. I wanted to know what was happening because we are very close. But we have always emerged stronger with every hurdle, everything that’s thrown at us, and she has also emerged stronger. So I am proud of her.”

The Baazigar actor penned a small note for her sister on her birthday. She wrote, “This is how I want to see u always… HAPPY! Wishing you all that and more, my Tunki… my tigress. May this birthday unfold many happy surprises and may all your incredible dreams manifest into reality. Love you and sooo proud of you! Have a great year, my jaan, and may you be blessed with abundance always”

Meanwhile, Shamita is celebrating her birthday today with her boyfriend Raqesh Bapat, sister Shilpa, brother-in-law Raj Kundra, mother Sunanda Shetty in Bastian. She has also invited her BB15 gang for her birthday celebration including Neha Bhasin, Rashami Desai, Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat, Umar Riaz, Rakhi Sawant and more.
