Sharman Joshi on return to ‘Golmaal’ franchise: Would love to be back

Sharman Joshi, who was last seen in ‘Mission Mangal’, played a pivotal part in the movie. The movie has entered the Rs. 100 crore club and is still going strong at the box office. Post the release of the movie, Sharman had an interaction with us where he spoke at length about his movies and upcoming projects.

When asked if there is any chance of seeing him in the ‘Golmaal’ franchise, Sharman said, “I am open to it. If it comes my way, then why not.”

For the unversed, Sharman played Laxman in ‘Golmaal: Fun Unlimited’. Later, he got replaced by Shreyas Talpade in the second one. Reports stated that Sharman demanded a heavy price but the actor rubbished the rumours. He cleared that he lost the role of Laxman due to a misunderstanding between his manager and the producer of the film.

Earlier also, Sharman expressed his desire to be a part of ‘Golmaal 5’. We would also like to see Sharman in the fifth installment. What about you?

He will be next be seen in a web show ‘Pawan Puja’. It has been directed by Shaad Ali and backed by Siddharth P Malhotra.
