Shraddha Kapoor

From looking like a well-to-do Delhi girl college girl to playing basketball like a pro, Shraddha Kapoor is doing everything to look convincing as Riya Somani, the centre of attraction in Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’, as well as in Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name.

However, Shraddha doesn’t seem to be very fond of her on-screen character, in one particular context.

As shown in the story, Riya suffers a major broken relationship which shakes her faith in love. As a result, she simply tends to shut herself from any similar affection as she is scarred for life. (Also Read: Shraddha Kapoor has a thing to say about the her link up with Farhan Akhtar)

“She has shut out love from her life because she is afraid to commit herself. That’s why she insists she’s Arjun’s half girlfriend. I never want to be like that. I want to believe in love. But I understand that certain experiences can make girls like Riya wary,” she told DNA, as she opened up about the film.

Ahh, well We hope you never undergo anything similar, Shraddha…
