Sidharth Malhotra starrer Mission Majnu becomes the 3rd most watched Indian movie on Netflix

On Tuesday, Netflix made public its most transparent viewership figures yet for the first time. The company has revealed figures for more than 18, 000 titles – both films and shows. Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Mission Majnu is also in the list. The Shantanu Bagchi directorial is the third most watched Indian movie on the platform, garnering over 31, 200, 000 hours.

Raina Nadu takes the number one spot, whereas Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga takes the second place. Mission Majnu took the 599^th spot in the list. Mission Majnu is one of the most loved films this year. The spy thriller was released on 20^th January, 2023.

Sidharth played the role of Amardeep Ajitpal Singh IPS (Aman), disguised as Tariq Hussain, and Rashmika played a bling girl named Nasreen Hussain/Nasreen Singh, Amardeep’s wife. Sidharth and Rashmika were loved for their performances in the film. The duo’s chemistry had also won hearts. The movie also satrred Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, and Rajit Kaur.

Bollywood Bubble gave ‘4’ stars to Mission Majnu. A part of the review reads, “Sidharth Malhotra starrer Mission Majnu is engaging and sparks curiosity in all the right parts. You will be intrigued to see what will happen in the next scene and that’s what a spy thriller demands. On the other hand, the terrific performances by Sidharth, Kumud, Sharib, and others only make it an interesting watch and hence, I’m definitely giving 4 stars. Mission Majnu is a must-watch if you’re a sucker for spy-thriller or have a huge interest in undercover films.”

Sidharth and Rashmika’s upcoming movies

On the other hand, Sidharth has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Karan Johar-produced Yodha and Rohit Shetty’s web series Indian Police Force. Talking about Rashmika, she delivered a terrific performance as Geetanjali in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. The actress will be next seen in Pushpa: The Rule.
