And now, makers have raised our excitement by sharing the first-look poster of Kareena Kapoor as Avni Singham from Singham Again.

Kareena originally portrayed the character of Ajay Devgn’s love interest in Singham Returns. However, in Singham Again, her role takes a new turn as she steps into the shoes of Ajay’s wife in the film. In the new poster, she is seen holding a gun with a bruise on her head. Sharing the poster, she wrote, “It’s about time… Rejoining forces with the cop verse #SinghamAgain Repost… @itsrohitshetty Meet the strength behind Singham… Avni Bajirao Singham… We first worked together in 2007… 3 blockbusters till now Golmaal Returns Golmaal 3 Singham returns… And now working on our fourth project… Singham Again… 16-year long association. Kareena Kapoor’s picture from Hyderabad shoot

Kareena shot for the movie in Hyderabad during the first week of October. Bollywood Bubble had exclusively reported Kareena being a part of cop universe and details about her shoot schedule. In the picture taken from behind, Kareena was seen standing in the middle of the road with a car upturned in the air. She wrote in the caption, “Do I need to say who I am shooting for? P.S-He is one of my most favourite directors.. This is my fourth film with him…and ofcourse not the last…(sic). Ready Steady Go…@itsrohitshetty”

Kareena Kapoor and Rohit Shetty’s previous movies

For those unversed, Kareena and Rohit have earlier collaborated for films like Singham in 2011, Golmaal 3, and Golmaal Returns.

‘Singham Again’ will be the latest addition to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. It is the 5^th film in the cop franchise after Singham (2011), Singham Returns (2014), Simmba (2018), and Sooryavanshi (2021). The movie will reportedly be released on Independence Day in 2024.
