Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza’s film Sitaare Zameen Par has received a positive response from audiences. In just five days, the movie has earned over Rs 70 crore and is now moving steadily toward the Rs 100 crore mark. As per a report by Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 75.15 crore in India by its first Tuesday.

The film collected about Rs 50 crore over the opening weekend. However, like most movies, it saw a big drop on Monday, earning only Rs 8.5 crore across all languages (Hindi: Rs 8.4 crore, Tamil and Telugu: Rs 0.05 crore each). A weekday dip is normal in the film industry and happens to both big and small films. The good news is that the film held steady on Tuesday as well, again earning Rs 8.5 crore. With this, the total box office collection in India now stands at Rs 75.15 crore, showing strong signs of continued success.
