Actor Sonakshi Sinha who is the daughter of veteran star Shatrughan Sinha thinks the entire debate on star kids is useless. There has always been a hue and cry over insider vs outsider debate on social media. Moreover, people think that star kids get everything prepared on a plate whereas the outsiders have to struggle to get a single opportunity in the industry. Amidst the discussion, the Dabangg actor feels that is not the case as even star kids loose out on films but no one would be talking about it. As per Sonakshi, there’s no point in talking about spilt milk.

Of course. Who hasn’t? Like this whole star kid debate is useless because it is not like no star kid hasn’t lost out on a project because of somebody else. But nobody goes around crying about it. It’s okay, sab ke saath hota hai (it happens to everyone). Deal with it, dude. That’s life. There is no point talking about spilt milk,” she told Pinkvilla.

Giving the example of her father Shatrughan who doesn’t hail from a filmy family, Sona said that her father too has lost opportunities in his career. She thinks ‘it is part and parcel of the job’. “Chalo, forget me. My father also, who was not a star kid, has lost out on many projects. It happens to every actor, it’s part and parcel of the job. It’s not something which is so unheard of or so new, it happens to everyone and it has been happening. Like I said, it’s part and parcel of the job, you move on with your life, work hard and keep at it,” she added.
