Sonam Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty to hold Diwali bashes, Taapsee Pannu to host ‘The Outsiders Party’

This is the time of celebration and festivities as the whole nation gets in the festive mode for Diwali. One of the biggest attractions at this time are the extravagant Diwali parties that Bollywood celebrities host each year. This year, Ayushmann Khurrana started the celebrations recently with the Diwali party his wife Tahira Kashyap and he hosted at their home. It saw celebrities like Ananya Panday, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Kartik Aaryan, Taapsee Pannu and many others in attendance, and now seems like this starry extravaganza is going to continue for some more days.

To begin with, Ramesh Taurani is hosting his star-studded Diwali bash today that will see the who’s who of Bollywood attending it. Talking to Hindustan Times, Taurani shared, “For the past two years we were missing all this. This time, I am happy to be throwing one. While I can’t reveal the names of the attendees just yet, I always invite my friends like Salman Khan and more.”  Post that, reportedly Taapsee Pannu is hosting a Diwali party tomorrow on October 20, which is interestingly titled ‘The Outsiders Party’. As per sources, people working in her production house’ films like Sanjana Sanghi, Ratna Pathak Shah, and her friends like Rajkummar Rao, Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal are amongst the ones invited.

The next two days will be seeing some big TV Diwali parties happening as well as Ankita Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain will be hosting their first Diwali party as a married couple on October 21, while Ektaa R Kapoor will have her big bash the following day. The HT report stated that Ektaa’s usual gang,  Mouni Roy, Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassanandani, and more have confirmed their presence for the event.

Shilpa Shetty is planning an intimate gathering at her house for a cards party on October 23 but its Sonam Kapoor who is planning the biggest event for Bollywood on the night of Diwali itself, that is expected to have the best attendance. A source has told, ““Every time it would be Anil Kapoor’s kids- Sonam, Rhea and Harsh Varrdhan who would organise it at his place, taking care of everything. But this time, the party is at Sonam’s new swanky house in Bandra Kurla Complex on the D-day, October 24. The couple (Sonam and husband Anand Ahuja) are also celebrating becoming new parents”. This Diwali is surely turning out to be quite starry and we can’t wait to see the industry get all decked up and bring in the festive season.
