Sonam Kapoor texts Salman Khan

Actress Sonam Kapoor bagged the role opposite Salman Khan in Sooraj Barjatya next. Rumours were that Deepika Padukone will be the one, but seems like the ‘Raanjhana’ girl won. We think Sonam should be thankful to Deepika’s date issues for bagging the role.

As per sources, an ecstatic Sonam confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Soorajji’s film is finalised. It’s a superb role and I am very excited.” She also said that she has discussed the role with her father Anil Kapoor a good friend of the Dabangg Khan. “He (Anil) was like, ‘You liked the story, then go ahead’.”

Sonam added, “I also messaged Salman sir, saying, ‘I really liked the script when I read it and I am looking forward to working with you.’”
Lets see if the jodi of Sonam and Salman create the same magic as Katrina and Salman.
