Suniel Shetty Calls Hera Pheri 3 With Akshay Kumar A Family Film; Reacts To Paresh Pawal’s Return; Says, “Fine Tuning Ho Gayi Hai”

Suniel Shetty has responded to the news of Paresh Rawal returning to the Hera Pheri franchise. Weeks after the announcement of Rawal’s exit from Priyadarshan’s film shocked fans, the veteran actor recently confirmed his comeback for the upcoming instalment. The beloved trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty is officially reuniting for Hera Pheri 3.

In a recent interview shared by the Sai Safar YouTube channel during his visit to Shirdi Sai Baba, Suniel Shetty addressed Paresh Rawal’s return to the third film in the series. When asked about Paresh rejoining Hera Pheri 3, Suniel said, “Maine bhi suna hai fine tuning ho gayi hai. Ab seedha release ke time baat karunga Hera Pheri 3 ki” (“I have also heard that the fine tuning has been done. Now I will talk about Hera Pheri 3 directly during the release time”).

Suniel also shared what makes Hera Pheri 3 special, stating, “Ye family ki film hai. Shayad wo ek film jahaan aap sab milke ek saath dekh sakte ho. Agar ek baar aap TV chaalu kar dete ho to uske baad aapko tension lene ki zarurat nahi hai, sharmaane ki zarurat nahi hai. Aapko pata hai ki log sirf hasne hi hasne waale hain. Chhup ke TV ya mobile phone dekhne ki zarurat nahi hai. Parivaar se chhupa ke nahi” (“This is a family film. Perhaps the kind you can all watch together. Once you switch on the TV, there’s no need to worry or feel awkward. You know people are only going to laugh. There’s no need to watch it in secret on TV or mobile. Not something to hide from the family”).

About Controversy

According to Bollywood Hungama, Rawal has returned the signing amount of Rs 11 lakhs along with 15% interest, and a bit extra, for stepping away from the franchise. His original signing fee was Rs 11 lakhs, with total fees reportedly set at Rs 15 crore. Rawal’s sudden exit last week has caused shockwaves within the industry and among fans eagerly awaiting the third instalment. It had been in production for nearly two decades.
