The month of June has begun on quite a high for Sunny Deol. First he had the re-release of his 2001 blockbuster Gadar in cinema. Then he had the unveiling of the teaser of the film’s sequel Gadar 2 on Monday. And adding to that celebration, is another happy news in his personal life. On Monday, celebrations began in Deol household as Sunny Deol hosted son Karan Deol’s pre-wedding festivities.

Sunny Deol hosts son Karan Deol’s pre-wedding festivities

Karan Deol got engaged to Bimal Roy’s great granddaughter a while ago and the first glimpses from pre-wedding festivities have come in. On Monday, the Deol family hosted Karan’s a pre-wedding function. In the video that has come from the venue, Sunny can be seen greeting the guests with a smile.

Along with him, brother Bobby Deol is also seen being the responsible uncle at the function. He looks quite dapper in his white shirt and bearded look. The actor is keeping that look for his upcoming release Animal with Ranbir Kapoor. The brothers, along with cousin Abhay Deol, even posed for the paps.

Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya to have their wedding on June 18

Earlier reports had suggested that Karan had already got engaged on grandparents Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur’s anniversary. The wedding will be taking place on June 18 at taj Lands End in Mumbai.

Recently, during an interview, Dharmendra had informed that the discussion on Karan’s wedding began at his home only. He said he loved Drisha the moment he met her and called her a ‘sensible and pretty’ girl. He was also very excited to have a wedding in the family after a very long time. Here’s wishing the happy couple a big congratulations.
