The Republic Day weekend of 2019 was said to have the biggest clash with four big Bollywood films releasing on the same day. Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’, Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Cheat India’ and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Thackrey’ were the four films in question. While each maker was rigid on not shifting their release dates, it was Hrithik’s ‘Super 30’ that finally had to budge.

As per a report on Mid-day, a source close to the film unit said, “Since the makers are keen on a solo release, they have decided to advance the release by a week.

‘Super 30’ will now be hitting the screens on January 18.

Speaking of the project, the Hrithik starrer directed by Vikas Bahl also features television actress Mrunal Thakur opposite Hrithik Roshan. While it was earlier stated to be a biopic, the makers recently confirmed of it not being one.

Apart from this, Hrithik will also start shooting for YRF’s untitled flick along with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor, which is directed by Siddharth Anand.
