#SushantDay: Kiara Advani, Ekta Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and others remember Sushant Singh Rajput on his birth anniversary

Sushant Singh Rajput is no longer amongst us but his legacy will always be remembered. Today on the occasion of Sushant’s birth anniversary, his family, friends and fans flooded the internet with heartfelt tributes.

Several B-town actors also took to their social media handles to offer tribute to SSR. Preity Zinta, Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao, Gulshan Devaiah, Ekta Kapoor, Kiara Advani posted pics of the late actor along with heartwarming captions.

Sushant’s MS Dhoni co-star Kiara Advani shared a still from their film and simply captioned it with a heart emoji.

SSR’s Sonchiriya co-star Bhumi Pednekar also shared a still from their film on her Instagram stories. Alongside the picture, Bhumi posted a heart emoticon.

Ekta Kapoor shared a video compilation of Sushant’s scenes from their show Pavitra Rishta. Alongside the video, Ekta wrote, “Sushi forever ! Shining bright like a star! Love n light wherever u r! Happie birth on earth day!(sic).”

Sushant’s last film Dil Bechara’s director Mukesh Chhabra also shared a video tribute for him. “Happy birthday Sushant ? miss you Bhai,” he wrote.

Manoj Bajpayee shared a poster of Sonchiriya and remembering Sushant he wrote, “Always remember you celebrate you ,your work and cherish all the time that we all spent with you SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT !! जहाँ भी हो तुम ख़ुश रहो !!”

Preity Zinta, sharing a picture with Sushant, wrote, “This day four years ago we laughed like crazy and had so much fun cracking jokes, singing songs and competing in sher competitions … Today it’s all a memory. Hope you are in peace wherever you are. Happy Birthday Sushant(sic).”

“We were not friends, we barely even met a couple of times, but your tragic passing has affected us all, in ways we couldn’t have imagined. You are a symbol of hope, your life a great learning. Sushant’s Kai Po Che co-star Rajkummar Rao also posted a picture of the late actor on his Instagram stories.

Sushant was just 34 when he was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. His tragic death sent shockwaves through out the nation.
