A drug peddler who allegedly provided drugs to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been arrested by The Narcotics Control Bureau. Three peddlers have been arrested by the NCB out of which one of them was said to be providing drugs to the MS Dhoni star, an official informed.

Sameer Wankhede of the Narcotics Control Bureau, according to ANI, said, “Three persons including one person who was providing drugs to Bollywood actor late Sushant Singh Rajput have been arrested by NCB in Goa.”

Earlier, the NCB had revealed that the agency was conducting raids in a few locations in Goa and that a huge amount of drugs had been recovered as well as some drug peddlers, An official was quoted by IANS, “We have arrested one Maharaj Shah from Miramar in Panaji and two foreign nationals as part of our raids.”

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 last year after he committed suicide at his Bandra residence. The SSR death case was being investigated by the Mumbai Police, after which the case was handed over to the CBI. But after the drug probe in the case was discovered, the SSR death case was being investigated by the NCB and ED as well. Meanwhile, The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has submitted a chargesheet and reportedly charges of illicit trafficking and harbouring offenders have been invoked against Sushant’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty by the central agency.
