Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise came as a huge blow to the entire film industry. The actor died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. And since no suicide note was found, the police is investigating the case to find out what made the immensely talented actor take up such a drastic step.

The recent reports state that a criminal complaint has been filed against Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar court. Sushant hailed from Bihar. The complaint accuses Rhea of abetting the suicide of Sushant. Read on to know the details.

As per a PTI report, Kundan Kumar, a resident of Patahi in Muzaffarpur has filed his petition in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar. The case will be heard on June 24.

The report further states that Kundan has accused Rhea of ‘financial and mental exploitation’ of Sushant. Speaking about the complaint, Kundan’s lawyer Kamlesh told the reporters, “My client is a huge fan of Rajput and has been deeply distressed by his suicide. He has filed his complaint under IPC Sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 420 (fraud).”

Since Rhea was very close to the late actor she was also questioned by Mumbai Police for almost 9 hours. Reportedly, Rhea and Sushant were planning to get married by the end of this year. The alleged couple was also house hunting.

Apart from Rhea, Mumbai police has also recorded the statement of filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra, Sushant’s creative manager Siddharth Pithani. The investigating team will also be recording statements of everyone who was in touch with Sushant in the last few weeks prior to his death.
