Recently we saw several Bollywood celebrities taking to their social media handles and thanking Mumbai Police for the way they are handling the Covid-19 crisis. Actress Urvashi Rautela, who is often accused of copy-pasting other celeb’s tweet and posts, was once again accused of stealing Sidharth Malhotra‘s tweet. But before you guys jump to any conclusions, read on to know Urvashi’s clarification first.

Appreciating, Mumbai Police, Sidharth in his tweet had written, “This is the time to heartily thank our Mumbai police, who are leaving their families at home & working with their high spirit and untiring efforts for our security and safety.. You guys are the real heroes #ThankYouMumbaiPolice(sic).”

Urvashi too shared the same tweet with little modification and soon she was called out by the netizens and some news portal of once again stealing other celeb’s tweet.

Clarifying on the latest accusation, Urvashi’s PR team stated, “It was the same tweet provided by @MumbaiPolice to @UrvashiRautela & @SidMalhotra which they had to post. No one copied anyone !!!!! Peace  Team UR.”

Well, that means both Sidharth and Urvashi were given the same ‘Thank You‘ script which they simply shared on their social media handles. We hope this clears the air and the netizens stop trolling Urvashi, at least for this time.
