Mumbai Mirror quoted a source saying, “He’s been learning some really tough Bhangra moves along with other dance forms like Urban and Street hip-hop. On Tuesday, while rehearsing with Rahul Shetty, Dharmesh and Tashan from UK, he twisted his knee. But Varun being the professional that he is, refused to take a break. He simply had his left knee taped to support the muscles and carried on.”

This is not the first time Varun got injured. But, he is a hard-working actor and no matter what he never let his injuries hamper the shoot or rehearsals.

Talking about ‘Street Dancer 3D’, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Remo D’souza’s wife, Lizelle D’souza, the movie is directed by  Remo. It is expected that the final shoot will be completed by July 25. Along with Varun Dhawan, the movie also has Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on January 24, 2020.
