Vidya Balan is here to solve ‘one murder, many mysteries’ as she announces Neeyat trailer release date

Vidya Balan is truly a chameleon when it comes to her characters on screen. The actress transforms herself effortlessly to each and every character she plays. Her excellence as an artist is exemplary. She is now adding yet another feather in her cap as she turns a detective for her next. Vidya will be seen as a detective in the thrilling drama Neeyat and she announced its trailer release date.

Vidya Balan announces Neeyat trailer release date

Anu Menon is directing Neeyat and it marks her reunion with Vidya post their 2020 release Shakuntala Devi. Vidya played the titular mathematics wizard in the earlier film. Now, in Neeyat, Vidya will be playing detective Mira Rao trying to solve a murder case with many suspects and stories. The film’s trailer will be unveiled on June 22, 2023.

The look of Vidya in the newly released poster of Neeyat is quite intriguing. The bangs that she is sporting and the whole jacket over a sweater look makes her look quite mysterious. The actress is actually one of the few actors who can pull off an intriguing character like this with such mystique.

The film also features an ensemble cast including Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli, Niki Walia, Neeraj Kabi, Shahana Goswami, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Danesh Razvi, Ishika Mehra and Madhav Deval. Vikram Malhotra of Abundantia Entertainment is producing the film and Amazon Prime Video is its presenter. It will release theatrically on July 7, 2023.
