Vir Das to start workshops for aspiring comedians

Actor-comedian Vir Das, who last week unveiled his Weirdass Comedy clothing label, is now gearing up to start workshops for aspiring comedians and actors.

“The academic side of comedy is something that the scene tends to neglect. We will be announcing a cool training initiative and a venue for the same. As professionals who have used this art form as a stepping stone to films and other mediums, the least we can do is train the new blood,” Vir said in a statement.

Vir will soon be announcing a training initiative to brush-up the skilled talents and help them improvise.
