“For the past 14 years, I’ve been celebrating my birthday with kids who are fighting cancer, or who have fought the disease and survived. One Foundation (Vivek’s charity organisation), in association with Cancer Patients Aid Association, organises a special event for them. I like to celebrate with the kids,” he said.

The actor has planned a special screening of the recently released ‘A Flying Jatt’ for the children. Vivek further adds, “We have organised a special screening of this particular movie since it’s a film for kids. Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff and Remo D’souza are coming to spend time with the kids. It’s amazing to see everyone participate and spread joy. This has been my birthday ritual for years now. We are expecting about 250 kids.”

Also speaking about the year gone and how incredible it has been, the actor adds, “On the personal front, this year has been quite incredible. I was invited by both the Prime Minister’s office and the office of the department of disabilities to be the ambassador for the Accessible India Campaign for persons with disabilities. For me, it’s an honour to be associated with the campaign. It will have an impact on the quality of lives of close to seven to eight crore people. It is truly an honour if I can touch the lives of so many people through this campaign.”

We must say that this detail of Vivek’s life makes us admire him even more.
