Bollywood Celebs war against virus

With every passing minute, the number of positive cases of Covid-19 is increasing in India. Maharashtra has registered the highest number of cases of Coronavirus so far. While the concerned authorities are undertaking all the necessary precautions, Bollywood celebs are using their star power to raise awareness regarding this deadly virus.

Several A-listers actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan came together for a video made by Rohit Shetty’s production house. Through the video, the celebs are urging people to unite in this ‘War Against Virus’.

Ajay Devgn took to his Twitter handle to share the video, alongside the caption, “Let’s all unite in the war against COVID-19. Every life is precious, everyone matters.#WarAgainstVirus.”

Other celebs who are a part of this video are-  Anil Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty. In the following video, the celebs spoke about the importance of personal hygiene, social-distancing, and taking care of young and senior citizens. They also advocated the importance of having a healthy diet. They even urged people to follow all the necessary instructions and precautions issued by the government.

Maharastra government has already announced the shutdown of Mumbai, MMR Region, Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and Nagpur in the wake of the deadly coronavirus.

Even Bollywood famous singer Kanika Kapoor has tested positive for Covid-19.

So far five deaths and 200 positive cases of Covid-19 has been registered in India. On coming Sunday i.e on 22nd March, PM Narendra Modi has requested the entire nation to observe ‘Janta Curfew’.
