However, last year, Sushmita Sen was brutally trolled after businessman Lalit Modi went public about his relationship with her. In an interview recently, she finally broke her silence and revealed why they didn’t get married.

Sushmita Sen on not marrying Lalit Modi

When asked if she was going to marry him, she told to a news portal, “If I was going to marry someone, I would be married to them. I don’t try. I either do it or I don’t.” She further added, “I just put out one post on Instagram because sometimes I think when people keep quiet, their silence is mistaken for weakness or fear. I just wanted to put out one post to let them know that I’m laughing. After that, I was done with it.”

After confirming break-up with the businessmen, Sushmita had shared a post with her daughters. In the caption, she clearly mentioned, “I am in a happy place!!! NOT MARRIED…NO RINGS Unconditionally surrounded by love!! Enough clarification given…now back to life & work!!”

For the uninitiated, Sushmita was recently spotted with model Rohman Shawl. The two have been dating for quite some time now. There were even reports that after they parted ways Sushmita got in a relationship with Lalit Modi. Looks like, Sushmita and Rohman have patched-up. They were even seen holding hands at a Diwali party recently.
