B-town beauty, Sonali Bendre, who has survived cancer, shared an emotional post with her social media fam. The actress’ ‘note to self’ is a must-read.

Ever since Sonali was diagnosed with cancer, she has been constantly sharing her experience and spreading awareness on social media. The confident actress even shared some of the pictures from her emotional phase of life. Sonali took to her Instagram handle and shared a video with a motivational note. The ‘Sarfarosh’ actress wrote, “Note to self ? P.S. For the rest of you, listen to your body and go for regular check ups, early detection helps!#WorldCancerDay”

Cancer is such a type of disease that can be treated only when it’s detected at the early stage, says the WHO. That’s the exact message Sonali Bendre wants to convey to her fans through her post. Several Bollywood celebrities have started speaking about deadly cancer, just like Sonali and they are not leaving a single stone unturned to spread awareness about this deadly disease.

Back in the year 2012, Manisha Koirala had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The actress had also shared her experience of battling the illness and she even inspired many with her memoir ‘Healed’, which was published in 2018. In several interviews to media, the ‘Dil Se’ actress had highlighted the importance of making lifestyle changes to prevent cancer.
